Performance:  This monitor has high performance but we wont compare this factor, See above for the reason why.

Design & Build Quality: AOC have gone with their trademark metal stand with a v-shape base. The bezels are quite thin, 10.5mm on the sides and thicker on the bottom. The underside of the monitor is V-shaped with the displayport and HDMI port on the right, and two USB and audio jacks on the right. There is a headphone jack on the back with an arm that folds down to hang your headphones off.

Adaptive Sync Technology: There are both G Sync (AG251FG) and FreeSync versions (AG251FZ).

OSD, Calibration and Setup: The OSD is controlled by buttons on the right hand underside of the monitor and is below average in terms of features when compared to similar monitors. However the out of the box the color accuracy is good.

Verdict: Although released in 2017, the AOC AGON AG251FG is still one of the best 1080p 240Hz monitors . However it is just a matter of time before we see newer models utilizing the next generation of AU Optronics TN Panels that offer sub 1ms response times.
